Sedron Technologies is hiring a Resource Recovery Wastewater Process Engineer to work remotely in the United States!
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water resource recovery and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.
Are you a passionate problem solver with deep expertise in wastewater treatment processes? We're seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to take a lead technical role in the design and optimization of both conventional and advanced treatment systems. In this role, you’ll provide process engineering leadership for treatment process evaluation, selection, design, and optimization. You’ll also support the assessment of plant operations and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners on industrial and municipal wastewater design-build and EPC projects.
If you're driven to deliver innovative and sustainable water resource recovery and wastewater solutions, particularly in treatment facility design and integration of resource recovery systems, we’d love to connect with you!
Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment processes to ensure performance, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, implementing solutions to maintain or improve system operations.
- Conduct full-scale operational assessments, pilot testing, and bench-scale studies to validate process improvements and new technologies.
- Identify and evaluate treatment alternatives, considering lifecycle costs, environmental impact, and performance metrics.
- Perform water quality analyses and interpret data for process optimization and design recommendations.
- Coordinate and prepare complex engineering reports and technical memoranda to support permitting, design, and construction phases.
- Review and approve designs and reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee the collection, integration, and management of process data to support modeling, simulation, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including operators, mechanical and electrical engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders
- Communicate technical findings clearly through presentations, reports, and collaborative discussions
- Maintain reliable attendance, arriving on time and ready to contribute
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.
