Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented ​Site Maintenance & Facilities Manager   

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. 

Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking forindividualswho can meet the following essential functions of the position: 

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems 
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure equipment meets operational requirements 
  • Oversee onsite renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations 
  • Plan and manage maintenance projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation  
  • Manage a team of maintenance personnel providing leadership and expertise to ensure safety, availability of resources and timely turnaround during unplanned downtimes  
  • Provide on and off hour emergency response including equipment repair, damage control, and assignment of personnel as needed 
  • Own and drive safety programs to ensure maintenance personnel are in compliance with federal/state and company policies and procedures  
  • Communicate effectively with home base and onsite O&M staff in regard to scheduled maintenance, down time or other emergent issues   
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including equipment logs and maintenance history 
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives 
  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike 
  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices 
  • Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines 
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors 
  • Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks 
  • Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance 
  • Maintain good organization skills 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned  

This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE  

  • Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or similar technical degrees are preferred 
  • Five or more years of experience in industrial maintenance or similar field required 
  •  Proven experience in industrial maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills 
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics 
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems 
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED 
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks 
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and varying temperatures 
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

  • Compensation range for this role is between $100,000 - $135,000 annually  
  • Discretionary bonus 
  • The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
