Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Human Resources Business Partner!
Preferred Location: Midwest-based (Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, or nearby)
Want to make a big impact without relocating across the country? We're especially excited to connect with HR professionals already located near our Midwest operations—ideally within an hour’s drive of one of our facilities—so you can be close to the action and help support our teams on the ground. While this role is primarily remote, it does require regular travel to our sites to foster strong relationships and provide hands-on HR support where it matters most.
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.
The HR Business Partner – Operations & Site Support plays a hands-on role in supporting employees and managers across Sedron’s facilities. This position focuses on day-to-day HR execution, with a strong emphasis on site-based support, employee engagement, and maintaining a consistent and positive workplace experience across all locations.
The HRBP provides direct support in areas such as employee relations, scheduling coordination, onboarding, policy guidance, and general HR administration. This role ensures that Sedron’s values are reflected in everyday operations, helping sites run smoothly while staying aligned with company culture.

• Provide real time HR support for site-based teams, ensuring employee questions, needs, and issues are addressed promptly and consistently
• Support managers in handling employee relations, corrective actions, scheduling, and workforce planning with clarity and fairness
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees, fostering a respectful culture through clear communication, policy guidance, and approachability
• Champion the employee experience throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring every interaction reflects Sedron’s standards and values
• Provide thoughtful, values-aligned support on employee relations matters, including coaching, conflict resolution, and formal investigations
• Support benefit programs, leave administration, and workers’ compensation claims—ensuring timely, accurate, and compassionate communication
• Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state, and local employment laws while applying internal policies consistently and fairly
• Participate in recruitment and hiring activities, helping identify and engage candidates aligned with team needs and company culture
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding, maintaining a seamless, well-documented process for all stakeholders
• Maintain accurate, confidential HR records and employee data to support informed decisions and operational integrity
• Partner with HSE teams to promote a proactive safety culture through training, communication, and compliance
• Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
• Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
• Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
• Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
• Perform other related duties as assigned
This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and manager discretion.
