Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.
We’re looking for an HR Generalist who’s equal parts people advocate, process optimizer, and culture champion. This role is key in supporting daily HR operations while driving forward projects in compliance, employee relations, recruiting, and performance management. Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees—fostering a respectful culture through clear communication and consistent policy guidance
- Champion the employee experience throughout the full lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring each interaction reflects our values and standards
- Provide thoughtful, values-aligned support on employee relations matters, including performance conversations, conflict resolution, and formal investigations
- Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state, and local employment laws while applying internal policies with fairness
- Support benefit programs and leave administration with a focus on accessibility, employee understanding, and timely resolution
- Participate in talent acquisition activities—helping identify, attract, and engage candidates who align with both role expectations and company culture
- Contribute to projects that strengthen employee engagement, elevate team performance, and build a workplace where people thrive
- Maintain precise, confidential HR records and data to support accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making
- Partner with the HSE team to promote a proactive, safety-first culture through training, communication, and compliance support
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims with care—ensuring timely, accurate documentation and effective communication with employees, providers, and leadership
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams of technicians, engineers, and operators
- Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving drive, bringing energy and excitement to technically challenging work
- Maintain reliable attendance, arriving on time and ready to contribute
- Take ownership of additional duties as needed to support Company goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and manager discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field—or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degrees in fields such as psychology, communications or technical fields will also be considered.
- Three or more years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or operations setting
- Strong working knowledge of multi-state employment law and HR compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation handling and workplace safety practices
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds (e.g., training materials, recruiting marketing materials)
- Frequent walking, standing, and moving between office areas and production spaces
- Regular exposure to manufacturing or field environments, which may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to effectively communicate in both office and operational settings, including the ability to hear in environments with moderate background noise
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Compensation for this role is between $80,000 - $98,000 annually
- This role may qualify for a discretionary bonus, recognizing outstanding contributions to team and company success
- This role requires approximately 10% travel to support Sedron facilities
- In compliance with state and local pay transparency laws, the expected compensation for this role is shared above. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost-of-living differences in states where Sedron is hiring.
