, ,Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Welder to work at our Sedro-Woolley, WA facility!
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.
We’re looking for a skilled Welder to join our team and help build the future of industrial waste treatment technologies. You’ll use your MIG, TIG, and Stick welding expertise to fabricate, assemble, and repair stainless steel components for custom-engineered systems. This role is hands-on, team-driven, and critical to our production success.
Available Shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:30am to 6:00pm
Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless steel and other materials as needed
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, welding symbols, and schematic drawings to complete fabrication tasks
- Fabricate and assemble structural and pressure components to tight tolerances
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts safely and effectively
- Conduct quality checks on welds and assemblies to ensure alignment with engineering standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following all safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams of technicians, engineers, and operators
- Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving drive, bringing energy and excitement to technically challenging work
- Maintain reliable attendance, arriving on time and ready to contribute
- Take ownership of additional duties as needed to support Company goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, preferably with stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Certification in welding (preferred but not required)
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test
- Comfortable working in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and varying temperatures
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Compensation for this role is between $24 - $38 hourly
- Additional pay may apply for off-shift hours, off-site work, or special assignments
- This role may qualify for a discretionary bonus, recognizing outstanding contributions to team and company success
- In compliance with state and local pay transparency laws, the expected compensation for this role is shared above. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost-of-living differences in states where Sedron is hiring.
