Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Project Developer (Wastewater) to work Remotely in the US. 
 
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with agricultural, municipal, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. 


We are seeking a highly motivated Project Developer to drive the development and execution of large-scale industrial projects within our wastewater treatment and resource recovery sectors. This role sits at the intersection of business development, project execution, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless project advancement from early-stage feasibility through permitting and contract execution.

 
This position requires a strong technical background, project management skills, and business development experience, with the ability to lead complex projects, develop key partnerships, and drive strategic growth initiatives. 


Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:  
•    Drive project development from initial customer engagement through feasibility, permitting, and contract execution 
•    Support preliminary facility design and capital cost estimates, identifying critical site engineering information needed to advance projects 
•    Navigate permitting and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal standards 
•    Manage project timelines and priorities, working independently and within a team to meet deadlines while aligning with company goals and culture 
•    Facilitate strategic meetings with customers, landowners, and local/state/regional stakeholders to keep them informed throughout the development process  
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, and regulatory bodies 
•    Represent Sedron Technologies at industry conferences, trade shows, community events, and local governmental meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish strategic partnerships 
•    Develop and execute strategic development plans to achieve revenue and market expansion goals 
•    Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, key accounts, and industrial-scale infrastructure projects 
•    Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to sales and executive leadership teams 
•    Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns and promotional activities tailored to industrial project development 
•    Work closely with engineers, project delivery, operations and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution 
•    Demonstrate leadership within a cross-functional team, effectively communicating between technical and business units 
•    Ensure compliance with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices 
•    Demonstrate a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and overcoming challenges in industrial project development 
•    Maintain professional reliability, arriving on time and demonstrating strong attendance 
•    Perform other related duties as assigned 
 
This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and management discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE  
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) 
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, project management, or a leadership role in a relevant industry 
•    Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and achieve revenue growth 
•    Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodies 
•    Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, capital sales, or complex contract negotiations 
•    Ability to quickly learn and adapt to industry-specific technical knowledge if coming from an adjacent field 
•    Familiarity with regulatory requirements, permitting processes, and environmental compliance is a plus 
•    Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools 
•    Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED 
•    Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language 
  
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 
•    Wage range for this role is between $130,000 - $185,000 annually  
•    This position requires regular travel, approximately 25-30% of the time. Travel may include site visits, meetings with clients, and attendance at industry events. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel on short notice are required. 
•    Discretionary bonus 
•    The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
