Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Electrical Technician in Sedro-Woolly, WA


Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. 


Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position: 

  • Contribute to the innovative design and drafting of cutting-edge electrical schematics, while building detailed work packages to guide the process.
  • Collaborate in the hands-on assembly of state-of-the-art industrial electrical control panels, ensuring precision and efficiency.
  • Play a key role in the commissioning of complex industrial machinery
  • Provide expert support in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Assist in the assembly and commissioning of industrial process control systems
  • Provide technical support to field operations both remotely and while traveling onsite
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
  • Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
  • Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
  • Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
  • Maintain good organization skills
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or similar position
  • Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation and Controls or related field; relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements
  • Experience with Electrical CAD and/or Eplan
  • Experience with machine and plant level power distribution and protection design, UL508a, and NEC
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
  • Willingness to travel to support site needs for a minimum of six weeks per year
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Wage range for this role is between $20.00-$45.00/hourly
  • The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location,education, training, skills, and abilities.
  • This position will work day shift: Monday-Thursday, 530am-4pm
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay.
