, ,Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented FP&A Analyst!
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron works with agricultural, municipal, and industrial customers to process their “waste” into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and performance reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance, strong modeling skills, experience in capital projects or project finance, and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for leadership.
Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including long-range capital planning and scenario analysis.
- Analyze monthly performance for the core business and capital projects, comparing actual results to pro forma projections and identifying key drivers of variance.
- Develop and maintain detailed project finance models to support evaluation of new capital projects, expansions, and strategic investments.
- Partner with business units to evaluate project cash flows, IRR, NPV, payback periods, and other investment metrics.
- Prepare concise, data-driven management reporting and presentations to support investment decisions and capital prioritization.
- Provide analytical support for financing strategies, including debt and equity considerations, cost of capital, and funding schedules.
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate capitalization, cost tracking, and alignment with budget and forecast assumptions.
- Enhance and automate financial models, tools, and reporting processes to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making speed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (MBA, CFA, CPA) a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant FP&A, project finance, or corporate finance experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling) and PowerPoint; experience with ERP (NetSuite, Sage, etc.) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, investment analysis, and scenario planning, specific experience in capital projects a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, structure, and strategic insight.
- Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in the English language
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Compensation range for this role is between $90,000 to $125,000 annually
- The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
- Discretionary bonus
